How can we ensure our data can be easily and generously accessed? In this webinar, Generous interfaces for discovering biodiversity data, the ALA’s Dr Martin Westgate and the ANU’s Prof Mitchell Whitelaw and Prof Adrian Mackenzie delve into their recent work with the ALA on finding more generous ways to explore biodiversity data.
We explore how the development of novel interfaces is transforming the way biodiversity data is presented, making it more inviting and accessible for a diverse range of users.

Martin Westgate leads the Science and Decision Support team at the Atlas of Living Australia. His research focuses on how scientific information can be used to understand and mitigate human impacts on the environment, via a combination of empirical ecology and evidence synthesis. Martin is also a scientific software developer and occasional frog-watcher.
