The 25th International Congress for Conservation Biology (ICCB 2011) will be meeting in Auckland, New Zealand from the 5th – 9th December 2011.
Meeting Theme
The theme for the ICCB 2011 is Engaging Society in Conservation (Te Whenua, Te Moana, Te Papa Atawhai Whakamaua ki Tina).
Exploring the science of conservation, and engaging all aspects of society in conservation.
Change of Venue and Dates
The 25th ICCB 2011 was planned for Christchurch at the Christchurch Convention Centre, but due to the severe earthquake suffered by the city earlier this year, the organising committee has had to move the meeting to Auckland, New Zealand.
The meeting venue for the ICCB 2011 is now the Sky City Auckland Convention Centre and with new dates, 5th – 9th December 2011.

Abstracts
The closing date for abstracts for oral, poster, and speed presentations has already passed (30 April 2011). Decisions about the outcome of submissions will be available from 30 June 2011.
